Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

The main character in this book is Will Grayson. He is a straight teenager who feels that he's friends with a boy named Tiny Cooper only because no one else wants to be his friend. You're probably wondering why I mentioned that he's straight. Well that's because there is another boy with the same name as him that is gay.
They meet in a peculiar, and unexpected way that, along with bringing them together, brings Tiny Cooper and the gay Will Grayson together in a way that exceeds friendship.
Throughout the book Tiny Cooper is creating a play originally about how he came to be friends with the straight Will Grayson, but it turns into a play about how met both Will Graysons.
This book is more than a love story, it's also a story of friendship and appreciating the people in your life. This book takes a little while to get into but once you've gotten through the lead up it's actually quite good.

  1. I think that this novel about Will grayson and his copy, seems to be one of those unique love books. I say that, because love stories whether in movies or in novels such as this one listed are usually set for a couple, consisting of a male and female, where in this case, focuses on a different concept, which I think should actually be more portrayed in more books nowadays to show variety and more possibilities that exceeds friendships in different ways. From reading this, I think that it's a book that conveys love in the whole different aspect than the rather cliche stories that no matter who or what you are, you deserve to love and have someone..

  2. That sounds like such a great book. Wow, I love the plot! I like books by john green, I feel that he's such a great writer. I wonder where the two authors got this idea from, nevertheless it is such a great topic for a book. I feel that books that have such strong morals are the most important! Being that society is changing, this is a great topic and more books need to be written like it, just as Katarina said. Love is love, no matter what gender(s) it's between.

  3. I'm goanna be honest, i have never heard of a book like this, and i find that really good, as a lot of books these days all have something in common in their plot. If this book had been published like ten years ago, I believe that this book might not have been published, due the way our society thought about gays. This just tells us how much our society has become comfortable with gays.
